Home-Stay Coordinator (NYC / North NJ)
Tiancheng International Group, Inc. dba Ivy International Group, an international student service organization, is looking for a Home-stay Coordinator to join our home-stay program to support international students. If you are a mature, out-going person who loves interacting with people and enjoys flexible working hours, then you will love this job.
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: New York City/North NJ
Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is required for this position.
Language Required: Ability to speak Mandarin Chinese is required for this position.
Experience : 1-3 Years of relevant work experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit American families to host international students;
- Coordinate with Chinese high school students, parents and host parents;
- Conduct home visit and write monthly report;
- Organize activities and outings.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Mature, outgoing adult with outstanding moral character;
- Highly organized, professional, efficient and works well under pressure;
- Empathy and understanding for international students;
- Love teenagers and being services orientated.
Required language:
- Mandarin Chinese

International Student Residential Adviser (Toms River, NJ)
Ivy International Group provides unparalleled level of year-round support to our students, their families and our partner schools receive year-round. It is our mission to keep students at the center of all that we do as they navigate through American culture and its distinctive high school experience.
IIG is looking for a Residential Advisor to live with and supervise a group of Chinese students studying at a local high school. If you are a mature, out-going person who loves spending time with students and interacting with different cultures, then you will love this job. In addition to a salary, Residential Advisor receives room and board throughout the school year in the same dorm where the students are housed.
NOTICE: THIS JOB NEED TO RELOCATE TO TOMS RIVER, NJ.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Provide responsible adult supervision for the students
- Manage dorm daily operation
- Provide driving support
- Organize activities and outings
Skills/Qualifications:
- With min 5 years education experience (could be direct experience with your own children or professional experience), experience with teenage children is highly preferred.
- Min college/associate degree (international degree is recognized).
- Mature, outgoing adult with outstanding moral character
- Highly organized, professional, efficient, resourceful and works well under pressure
- Interest in working with high school age students
- Empathy and understanding for international students
- Ability to speak Chinese or experience working in China is a plus
